How Our Network Works

Who You Talk To

You talk to an independent concrete provider. Not a big company. Not a call center script. Each provider in our network runs their own business and sets their own schedule and prices.

Naturallycrystal Concrete makes the introduction. After that, the conversation is between you and the provider.

What Happens on the Call

Keep it simple. Say what you want, where you live and roughly how big the space is. The provider may ask about access, slope and what is there now. They may suggest a site visit.

No one should rush you. If the pitch feels pushy, that tells you something.

What to Ask a Provider

Write these down before you dial:

  • Who does the work: your crew or subcontractors?
  • How thick will the slab be, and what goes under it?
  • How do you handle drainage and joints?
  • What sealer or finish do you use for sun and freeze-thaw?
  • What is in the written quote, and what is left out?
  • When could you start, and how long will it take?

What a Good Answer Sounds Like

Specific. "Four inches over compacted base, with joints every so many feet" is a real answer. "Don't worry, we do it all the time" is not.

Good providers explain the why. They are fine with questions.

Red Flags

  • A price quoted with no visit and no questions.
  • Pressure to sign today.
  • A big cash deposit up front.
  • Nothing in writing.
  • Vague answers about base prep.

Any one of these is a reason to pause.

You Are in Control

You can talk to more than one provider. You can say no. You can ask for the quote in writing and take a day. Get it written.
